Administrative Director of Surgical Services - Registered Nurse

Position Summary

Our client is seeking - Director of Surgical Services that provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for perioperative services. This leader oversees quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, financial performance, physician relationships, staffing, and service line growth while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide executive oversight of Surgical Services operations.

· Lead quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

· Direct staffing, labor management, budgeting, and resource utilization.

· Improve patient throughput and operational efficiency.

· Partner with physicians and hospital leadership to grow service lines.

· Develop leaders, mentor managers, and strengthen employee engagement.

· Oversee capital equipment and supply management.

· Drive strategic planning, process improvement, and patient experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

· Minimum of 2 years of Inpatient Acute Care Director of Surgical Services experience required

• Minimum of 3 years of Inpatient Acute Care surgical services experience as a licensed registered nurse

· Current KS RN license or multi-state compact license.
