Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Summary: Under the general direction of the President/Chief Executive Officer and Chief Nursing Officer, the Executive Administrative Assistant (EAA) performs highly diversified administrative duties for hospital officers and supervises clerical staff of the administration offices. The EAA uses discretion in handling customer service issues brought forward to Administration. The EAA manages the hospital contract system to ensure compliance, and takes a leadership role in event planning for administrative activities.
What qualifications you will need:
Education: Associates degree, or two years of college-level office/business administration course work required; bachelor's degree preferred. Will accept ten years high level executive assistant experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge/Professional Licensure/Registration/Certifications: Keystroke speed no less than 60 wpm. Good interpersonal skills required in order to communicate effectively with internal and external callers and visitors and provide information (often of a sensitive or highly confidential nature) with courtesy and tact. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Good analytical skills necessary in order to handle complex administrative details.
Good judgment needed to assess and prioritize multiple activities for supported executive and working knowledge of multiple office software products, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience: A minimum of five years secretarial experience required, including three years at an executive level.
