Job Overview:

This position is a two-year assignment for a graduate student in a Healthcare Administration program at an affiliated college or university. The Fellow will be responsible for various projects throughout administration and across the TriHealth system.

Year 1 of the Fellowship is designed as a survey experience of administration and leadership. During the first year, the Fellow will work under the supervision of a senior leader and rotate through various departments, assuming administrative assignments that provide insight and learning related to their studies in Healthcare Administration. By the end of Year 1, the Fellow is required to complete all graduation requirements of the Healthcare Administration program.

In Year 2, the Fellow will be assigned to a department with a single supervisor. During the second year, the Fellow will be responsible for projects within that area, allowing for deeper focus and development within the discipline. During this year, the Fellow may also apply for permanent positions at TriHealth.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor''s Degree in Health Administration

Must have completed the didactic portion of the Master of Health Administration program

Microsoft Office Suite-Excel, Access, Word

Job Responsibilities:

Serves as a technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of the operational and financial functions of the

hospital, service line and specialty institute operations and business development initiatives.

Conducts in-depth statistical analysis and evaluation of operational indicators, identifies program/ service strengths and weaknesses, business opportunities and financial impact. Assists with the development and implementation of operational plans, procedures and systems; reviews and evaluates current procedures and systems and develops recommendations for improvement and/ or change. Identifies opportunities for service and program improvement and/ or further development. Develops special reports and recommendations. interprets and presents data analysis results including explanation of statistical and financial techniques used,assumptions made and summary of results. Develops and documents methods of interpretation of results for future reference. Document and presentation and preparation for Management and Committee Reports, as well as analysis of business development and operational initiatives.

Other projects as assigned.

Other Job-Related Information:

Strong legal research and writing skills, self-motivated with proven work ethic, accountability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and demeanor, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
