Job Overview
The Fairview Health Services Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, project-based program that is crafted to cultivate the development and executive skills of individuals committed to a career in healthcare administration. Fellows are given the opportunity to gain practical experience through direct exposure and participation in a variety of administrative initiatives throughout the health system. Applicants should be interested in and able to navigate through the complexities of a large health system. Candidates should also have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to constructively handle ambiguity.
Fellows make important contributions to administrative work throughout the system. The Fellow will work with an executive level preceptor in the identification of personal goals, selection of project work, and development of executive skills. They will be exposed to work across the entire continuum of care and will have the chance to explore areas of personal interest. A desired goal of the program is to provide experiences that will position the fellow for future career development within Fairview Health Services, one of the largest health care providers in Minnesota.
This full time position is in-person in Minneapolis, MN (remote options are not available).
