Administrative Law Judge

Contract to Hire

Remote | Phoenix, AZ, United States


Responsibilities

  • Conduct hearings and make decisions on administrative law cases.

  • Able to work M-F 8-5 MT

  • Stay updated on changes in administrative law and legal precedents.

  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

  • Review evidence and legal documents to ensure compliance.

  • Evaluate performance metrics to improve case handling efficiency.

  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards in all judicial proceedings.

  • Draft detailed written opinions and rulings based on findings.

  • Manage case dockets and ensure timely resolution of cases.

  • Collaborate with legal teams to interpret laws and regulations.

  • Facilitate communication between parties involved in cases.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior legal staff.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school required

  • Proven experience in administrative law and judicial decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of administrative law and legal precedents.

  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to judicial integrity.

  • Excellent written communication skills for drafting rulings and opinions.

  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous learning.

  • Ability to manage case dockets and ensure timely resolutions.

  • Ability to evaluate performance metrics for improved efficiency.

  • Experience collaborating with legal teams and interpreting laws.

  • Proficient in facilitating communication between involved parties.

  • Experience mentoring junior legal staff for skill enhancement.
