Position Summary Manage the administrative operations and activities of the NYU Pain Research Center. Serve as project manager to ensure projects are effectively moving according to plan objectives, establish milestones, and create measurement criteria. Analyze a variety of Center and Departmental data and prepare summaries and recommendations for the Director. Independently conduct research on questions presented, synthesize and summarize with recommendations for the Director. Manage access to the Pain Research Center Director by identifying the Directors objectives and priorities. Lead the planning and execution of Pain Center meetings and events to ensure attendees have the resources needed to accomplish meeting goals and objectives. Interpret University, College of Dentistry, Departmental and Pain Center policies and serve as an informational resource to the Pain Research Center Director, PIs, faculty and administration with authority to autonomously resolve moderately complex administrative matters. Advise and ensure adherence to policies and procedures by staff. Identify any policy or procedural issues and recommend actionable resolution and improvement. Present reports on progress of projects. Develop and cultivate productive working relationships Pain Center faculty, PIs, administrators, and outside vendors to help accomplish the Directors goals.
Qualifications Required Education: Bachelors Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years of relevant administrative and budgetary experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: 2+ years Experience in an academic or healthcare environment.

Additional Information In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $84,150.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
