JOB SUMMARY: Assumes shift accountability for management of assigned units within the framework of a decentralized system; interpreting departmental and hospital objectives, policies and procedures into effective action, coordinating, maintaining, and monitoring the standards of care and practice, providing input for development and evaluation of staff.
