Client Overview Our client is a prestigious university-affiliated law school seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Paralegal to support a collaborative legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with paralegal or legal administrative experience who enjoys working in a mission-driven educational environment.Salary/Hourly Rate $24/hr - $26/hrPosition Overview The Administrative Assistant / Paralegal will provide administrative and case management support to a legal services team. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information while supporting a variety of legal and administrative functions. The ideal Administrative Assistant / Paralegal will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining accurate records, coordinating client communications, and providing exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful legal services within an educational setting.Responsibilities Open, maintain, and close paper and electronic case files.Update client matters and maintain accurate records.Organize and manage legal documentation and case files.Contact clients and witnesses as needed.Schedule client appointments and reserve meeting spaces.Refer clients to outside organizations and community resources when appropriate.Assist with general legal and administrative support duties.Support special projects and additional tasks as assigned.Required Experience/Skills Prior paralegal or legal administrative experience required.Strong organizational and file management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask in a busy office environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Experience/Skills Spanish language skills preferred.Experience working in a legal clinic, law firm, university or nonprofit setting.Familiarity with case management systems and electronic file maintenance.Education Requirements Associate's degree required.Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree preferred.Benefits Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).#J-18808-Ljbffr
