We are seeking passionate individuals for the role of Administrative Program Manager II, so join our team and make a meaningful impact on youth and the community at DJS! The Facility Project Managers are dedicated to ensuring the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of DJS facilities and offices by prioritizing re-openings, facility closures, conducting through residential facility, community office site assessments, developing standardized preventative maintenance plans with the DJS Risk & Emergency Administrator alongside the Chief Design & Facility Manager (CDFM). Collaborating on a monthly and quarterly basis with Facility Superintendents and Regional Directors, Deputy of Residential Services, Deputy of Community Services, Chief of Information Technology under the Deputy of Support Services; while overseeing the respective area Maintenance budget, conducting procurements, coordinating and overseeing all approved construction and repair projects, and securing annual DGS PMO funding to support facility expansions, renovations and repairs.
POSITION DUTIES
This position is responsible for the South Capital and Eastern Regions field offices and facilities. They are:

South Capital Field office include: Montgomery, Price Georgeâs, Charles, Calvert and St. Maryâs counties.
Facilities include Cheltenham Youth Detention Center (72 beds, male only) in Cheltenham, MD. and Alfred D. Noyes Childrenâs Center (drug treatment center, 29 beds, male and female in Rockville, MD.)

Eastern Region: Field Offices in Cecil, Kent, Queen Anneâs Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset Counties. Â

Facilities are Lower Eastern Shore Childrenâs Center (24 beds, male and female) in Salisbury, MD. Â Â Â Â Â

This position is eligible to work a hybrid telework schedule, and may travel is required.Â
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma
Â
Experience: 10 years or more working in the project management and facility maintenance field.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
 Please include at least two desirables below
Â
· Project/Construction Management experience
· Procurement of maintenance and facility project needs
· Contract monitoring experience
· Facility and Maintenance Quality Assurance Coordination
· Certifications in PMP (Project Management Professional), CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional)
