Job Overview:
Pay Range: $22.00hr - $27.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree, Public Health or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of related professional experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support operational activities for the organization.
- Support the overall operations by optimizing the administrative infrastructure and professional environment.
- Work alongside staff members to establish, maintain, and carry out major initiatives.
- Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Monitor project statuses, assist with data collection, and prepare documentation.
- Manage timelines and promote activities through professional communication with faculty, staff, and community partners.
- Support staff in executing and streamlining daily operational tasks including booking travel, planning events, and ordering supplies.
- Process invoices and reimbursements, submit scientific manuscripts, and perform copyediting.
- Maintain a social media and online presence and field phone calls and email correspondence.
- Build and maintain an activity catalog on program-related member activities such as publications and grant applications.
- Monitor, track, and support strategies and initiatives carried out by the administrative team.
- Draft reports and other dissemination materials for the organization and community.
Nice to Have:
- Previous experience in a university environment.
- Knowledge of systems such as WordPress, REDCap, Adobe Creative Suite, or Workday.
- Experience providing research support with CV/biosketch updates and grant writing.
- Experience creating/formatting figures and tables, document review, and presentation development.
