At NorthBay Health, the Administrative Residency is a one-year program designed to provide Residents with meaningful learning experiences, broad exposure to healthcare operations, and hand-on opportunities to actively contribute within a real-life healthcare environment. The program allows Residents to meet, interact, observe and develop skills in real-life business situations as well as contribute to work product through cross functional experiences across key areas of the organization. The Resident will participate in strategic initiatives and organizational projects, develop financial and business acumen and have leadership exposure and mentoring while interacting with staff, physicians and leaders in the organization. This program is designed to identify and foster promising candidates the opportunity to develop skills in operations management, strategic implementation, and work in dynamic live situations in the healthcare operations and corporate environments and has the potential to apply for NorthBay's one-year Administrative Fellowship program or other job opportunities.

Primary Job Duties
1. Education: By the start of the program, completion of Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Business Administration (MBA) with strong academic performance.
2. Experience: Healthcare industry experience that may include an internship, externship, fellowship or applicable employment preferred. Previous leadership experience preferred.
3. Skills: Demonstrated leadership potential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook requires excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be well organized, be able to set priorities, work independently as an effective team member. Demonstrates effective time management skills. Must have superior critical thinking skills and be open to learning. Individual must be highly collaborative, be willing to assume new responsibilities as needed, accept accountability, build effective relationships, and operate effectively under pressure. Confidence, integrity, skilled communications, and a sense of humor are also essential. Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated success in creating novel solutions to complex problems. Flexible, adaptable, persistent, passionate, management skills, facilitation skills. Maintains the utmost confidentiality related to items from the work setting. Appearance is professional. Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Interest in healthcare operations and administration. Ability to work collaboratively with leaders, physicians, clinicians, and other professionals. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.

Compensation Structure
NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.
Remote Work Disclosure
NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
Remote work is not supported in Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or outside of the United States.
