Requirements / Qualifications

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The Administrative School Secretary will under the direction of the school principal: Provide secretarial office support service to school administrative and staff. Relieve the principal of administrative detail and perform technical duties. Assist in coordinating a broad range of functions throughout the school. Facilitate a continual flow of contacts with pupils, teachers, administrators, and the public. Assign and review the work of school office staff and volunteers at the direction of the school principal. Assist in establishing the proper atmosphere for the school and District. Perform other related work as required. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; supplemented by or including courses in office organization or secretary skills, or any combination of training and/or experience that provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Prior service demonstrating responsible office experience, preferably in a school district. Type @ 45 net words per minute. First Aid Certificate. LICENSE/CERTIFICATE: First Aid Certificate; Typing Certificate, dated within the last six (6) months. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ARE ACCEPTED. (Required on or before July 10, 2026) FUESD provides typing tests.

REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF): Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from the most recent employer) Resume indicating prior service demonstrating responsible office experience, preferably in a school district. First Aid Certificate Typing Certificate with verification of completion (dated within the last six (6) months) of typing assessment with a corrected net speed of 45 words per minute.
