This position is off-campus and student employees must provide their own transportation to the site.

JOB TITLE: Administrative Services Assistant at Cassia

PAY RATE: $18.00/hour

Shifts: Weekly hours are flexible; 8 - 16 hours per week. Ideally available for 8pm - 4:30pm (or partial days) on a periodic basis to cover front desk duties.

LOCATION(S): Cassia home office at 7171 Ohms Lane, Edina, MN 55439. The position is in person.

About Us: Cassia is a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that provides healthcare and housing for aging adults. Our senior care campuses are in MN, ND, IA, CO, and FL.

Job Description: We are seeking a resourceful college student to join our executive administration team as a Part-Time Administrative Services Assistant. In this role, you will serve the entire organization of Cassia with courtesy, efficiency, and patience; collaborate with Cassia Home Office Staff in all areas; provide a spirit of cooperation; complete responsibilities with accountability, accuracy, and timeliness; as well as model punctuality and attendance.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover front desk as requested; greet guests, answer phones, light computer work.
  • Design and deliver file-based projects such as updating site directories, tracking hospice information and other data tracking items.
  • Document procedures to ensure transfer of team knowledge.
  • Assist Human Resource department with file audits upon request.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized, with superior attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality work recognized for accountability, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, prioritize and execute tasks, as well as learn new activities and procedures quickly.
  • A proactive, positive, and helpful attitude, especially during difficult times and when exposed to negative influences.
  • Basic working knowledge and skills of: Microsoft 365.
  • Strong verbal and written communicator, who is trustworthy, honest, and absolutely discreet with information.
