Overview
At Larimer County Department of Human Services, we strive to be responsive, provide timely resources in partnership with our community so individuals and families are healthy, supported, and safe. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic staff member to join our Operations and Organizational Development (OOD) Division as an Administrative Specialist I/II.
As an Administrative Specialist I/II on the Program Support Team, you will support our community's most vulnerable members. This position manages the complex administrative paperwork required for SSI and SSDI benefits, including obtaining medical records, tracking strict filing deadlines, and processing Representative Payee documentation. By handling these time-sensitive tasks, you directly assist the Adult Disability Navigator Program and the Child, Youth and Family Division. Your work allows our caseworkers and navigators to dedicate their time to direct client advocacy and case management.
This position is limited-term and is expected to end after 12 months; however, there may be an option for the position to continue depending on funding and business need.

This position is a hybrid position and will require at least one day/week in the office. You will be required to have adequate internet access and space for remote work. Larimer County provides a one-time remote work stipend to assist with equipment and office supply needs for remote workspaces.
