Pitkin Forest Nursery supports reforestation and restoration efforts. Key duties include processing seedling orders, preparing invoices, and handling payments. The role involves maintaining the nurserys website, online sales portal, and seedling inventory, as well as ordering supplies and coordinating shipments and pickups. Outreach responsibilities include answering inquiries from customers, landowners, extension agents, government agencies, and the public, providing nursery tours, and attending conferences. The role reports to the Director of the Pitkin Nursery and requires effective collaboration with other staff. rr**Position Overview:** r Assist with administrative tasks including preparing correspondence, maintaining records, maintaining calendars, monitoring office inventory, ordering supplies when necessary and completing various assignments as needed. This position may be the first point of contact for the department, and is tasked with ensuring that information flows accurately, efficiently and effectively while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
