    UMB’s Specialty Corporate Trust team offers a variety of trust products and services to the structured finance world, primarily for municipal and default. We work with customers based across the world to administer their trust transactions. We offer a niche product and service offering and our team is known around the world as one of a few specialty trust departments that can onboard and administer this unique group of products. 

    The Administrative Specialist role supports the Specialty Corporate Trust team by providing routine, general administrative support to Corporate Trust client staff, and fulfilling various administrative functions.

    Working in the Specialty Corporate Trust group can be fun and exciting. It is often fast paced and has monthly deadlines that we rally around. It is an environment where the associates take pride in their work, support each other, provide the resources needed to succeed, and always work as a team. Our team has a strong background in the industry and many associates have 10-30 years of experience working these types of deals.     How you’ll spend your time:

    • You will provide excellent customer service by monitoring the main office phone line, monitoring group mailboxes and fax inbox, manage temporary badge assignments, ordering supplies, booking travel and welcoming/accompanying office visitors.
    • You will support our Relationship Managers by processing incoming and outgoing mail, record keeping, maintenance and updates to systems, some fee coordination, resolving administrative and operations problems, vaulting of assets, logging incoming checks, scanning and saving documentation to FileNet and facilitating postage.
    • You will assist with other one-time and ongoing projects as needed and you will have opportunities to serve on committees that engage the group and support business needs.
    • You will become the office expert, and the team will look to you as the point person for all event planning, logistical support, and breakroom supply maintenance

    Compensation Range:

    $38,916 - $57,244
