Requirements

• Ability to work onsite across designated hospital and sterile processing locations.
• Full-time, non-exempt availability.
• Ability to transport case carts, instruments, and vendor trays between processing locations.
• Capability to support transportation between the main hospital, mobile unit, Spanos Court SPD, and STCH.
• Ability to maintain timely and dependable instrument flow to support surgical readiness.
• Ability to follow standardized workflows and coordinate with Sterile Processing, OR, and ancillary departments.

Summary / Duties

The role provides dedicated onsite transportation support for Sterile Processing during the SPD renovation. This limited-term, full-time, non-exempt position involves moving case carts, instruments, and vendor trays between the main hospital, mobile processing unit, Spanos Court SPD, and STCH to maintain instrument flow and surgical readiness. The position supports 24/7 departmental coverage, allowing SPD technicians to focus on decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include timely movement of materials between processing locations, coordination with Sterile Processing and perioperative teams, and maintaining reliable transportation workflows as instrument volume shifts across sites.
