Administrative Support Associate 4, Dickson

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology - Dickson is accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Support Associate 4 at the Dickson Campus. This is not a remote work position.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical diploma in a related field preferred. A comparable combination of education and directly related experience may be considered.
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience in an office setting; experience in higher education preferred.
• Ability to effectively and tactfully communicate in various forms with employees, students and the public at all levels.
• Valid Tennessee driver’s license.

SKILLS

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills with knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced office environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects at once with minimal direct supervision.
• Ability to design and maintain record-keeping systems.

GENERAL DUTIES:  The Administrative Support Associate 4 will assist with duties in a variety of areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Serving as the receptionist for the Administrative suite.
• Assisting the K-12 Pathways Coordinator with various duties related to dual enrollment students and programs.
• Conducting faculty evaluations for all campuses.
• Assisting the president and vice presidents with clerical/administrative tasks.
• Assisting with set-up for special events.
• Updating forms and documents.
• General office duties and other duties as assigned.

Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position reports to the Vice President of Fiscal Services. Some travel may be required. This is not a remote work position. Anticipated start date July 1, 2026.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Strength requirements (physical demands) - Mental and Visual Demand:

1. 1. Sedentary work -- involves sitting some of the time; involves mobile accessibility to entire school and off-campus locations.
   2. Requires mental and visual attention to detail.
   3. Strength requirements – lift up to 25 pounds on occasion; lift, carry, push or pull objects occasionally.

SALARY:  $31,922-$39,902 per year ($16.37-$20.46 per hour). Commensurate with Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology salary guidelines, education and related experience.
