Administrative Support – Birmingham, AL

 

$18.00 - $22.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days 

 

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Admin Support to join our team in Birmingham, AL.

 

The Administartive Support position will be responsible for data entry, scheduling of repairs, customer service, contact with clients, parts inventory management, working with safety standards as it pertains to Fleet, compliance, occassional transporting of vehicles and some garage support and office cleaning. 

 

 

Pay & Schedule

 

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday
Schedule: : Monday-Friday: 6PM-2:30AM

What You’ll Do

  • Keep track of parts requests and submitted documents
  • Prepare and sorts parts requests, identify and interpret data to be entered on spreadsheet
  • Contact preparers of parts requests to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
  • Confirm accuracy of data such as unit numbers, VINs, work order numbers, etc.
  • Review and make necessary corrections to information entered
  • Assists in establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient records management system
  • Generate reports and responds to inquiries regarding entered data as requested
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Perform general clerical duties such as typing, answering phones, etc.
  • Some vehicle transporting
  • Interact with clients through both email or phone as necessary
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a supportive role
  • Parts, inventory and mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service; customer/client driven approach
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Knowledge of records management procedures

Working Conditions

 

  • Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
  • Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
  • Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Ability to move and position heavy objects
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
