Job Title: Tax Operations Specialist (Admin Support)
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Dallas, TX *** on-site position 5 days/week

TOP SKILLS REQUIRED:

* On-site position @ 208 S. Akard, Dallas, TX. 40 hours per week, M-F. *** Flexible hours starting no later than 9 am and ending no earlier than 3 pm with an hour lunch.

The Temporary Tax Operations Specialist will support the Transaction Tax team in maintaining accurate mailing and physical address records for Telecommunication entities and subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions. This role will focus on executing high-volume updates across state and local tax authority platforms to ensure compliance and data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

" Update mailing and physical addresses for Telecommunication entities and subsidiaries across various state and local jurisdictions

" Log into jurisdiction websites and online tax portals to perform account updates and maintain accurate registration information

" Complete and submit paper forms or jurisdiction-specific documentation as required for address changes

" Track and document updates to ensure completeness and provide status visibility to the Transaction Tax team (hiring manager-Carey Hall)

" Validate data prior to submission to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal records

" Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., KPMG) to resolve discrepancies or obtain required information

" Maintain organized records of all submissions, confirmations, and correspondence for audit and compliance purposes

" Identify and escalate issues, delays, or inconsistencies encountered during the update process

Qualifications

" High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity

" Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining quality

" Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle high volumes of work

" Basic proficiency in Client Excel and general computer navigation

" Comfortable working across multiple web-based systems and jurisdiction portals

" Effective written communication skills for documenting updates and issues Desired Attributes

" Ability to quickly learn and execute new processes with minimal oversight

" Strong sense of accountability and ownership of assigned tasks

" Proven ability to work with speed and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
" Familiarity with tax, compliance, or regulatory processes is a plus, but not required Work Structure

" Temporary assignment supporting a defined project scope

" Work may involve a mix of system-based updates and manual (paper) processing depending on jurisdiction requirements
