Program Overview:

Supportive Visitation Services promote and maintain the parent-child bond and support positive family interactions by facilitating weekly visitation with children in an out of home placement and their parents and siblings. The goals of the program are to foster effective communication, enhance parenting, achieve permanency, and maintain reunification.

Position Summary:

The Administrative Support staff will support the Medicaid billing component of this program. The staff will assist with incoming referrals, ensure Medicaid enrollment, review documentation for billing readiness and completeness, assist with monthly data collection, tracking, management and reporting, etc. to ensure compliance standards and timeframes are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides documentation and compliance support to support accurate Medicaid billing
  • Provides oversight to client charts and in coordinating EHR and data management systems with DCF.
  • Flags concerns or trends in billing or documentation to leadership.
  • Communicate with leadership and specialists regarding billing and documentation needs.
  • Supports leadership in addressing consumer and program needs.
  • Supports referral management processes, tracking and communication.
  • Regularly collaborates with the finance department and RCM team regarding Medicaid billing issues and assists in resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist with audit preparation and compliance checks
  • Follows department policies and procedures and encourages same in others.
  • Completes and submits accurate written reports and documentation as assigned.
  • Ensures quality and accuracy of written and verbal communications.
  • Attends meetings and training within established time frames.
  • Operates conscientiously in accordance with agency budget.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
  • Experience with web-based applications and the Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.
  • Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.
Additional Information:
  • Base Pay: $20.00
  • Schedule: 20 hours/week
