About this Position

This regular continuous position within the College of Veterinary Medicine provides administrative support and business continuity to various academic and service departments. This support may be ongoing or temporary due to a vacancy or a leave of absence within their administrative support staff. While reporting to the office of Business Operations, the specialist will perform Oklahoma State University (OSU) specific administrative functions including assisting with employee onboarding, payroll, fiscal/budget responsibilities, travel, etc.

Required Qualifications

  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Admin Supp Spclt I: One year of clerical/customer service experience.

    Admin Supp Spclt II: Two years of clerical/customer service experience.

    Admin Supp Spclt Sr: Three years of clerical/customer service experience.

    Post-secondary education may be substituted for required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's
  • Three years of clerical/customer service experience.

  • Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

    Coordinates flow of accounting, personnel, and payroll documents. Acts as a resource who interprets information in accordance with policies and procedures. Handles procurement for the department/unit. Prepares student and/or personnel files. Creates course reports and facilitates ordering textbooks.
