Job Description:
General:
  • The Administrative Support Specialist will report to an assigned management and department staff. The incumbent will provide clerical and administrative support to the client.

Examples of Essential Functions:
  • Provide clerical, administrative, and data entry support.
  • Assist in collect, review and analyze data; preparing reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials.
  • Assist in coordination of office and/or departmental operations.
Examples of Essential Duties:
  • Process expense reports, invoices, progress payments and other requests for payments.
  • Review invoices and support documentation to ensure compliance with AP policies and procedures.
  • Respond to AP questions and resolve issues for internal and external customers.
  • Assist in maintaining department digital files and records.
  • Assist other divisions with clerical support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Supervision: Works under the supervision of the assigned management and department staff, who establishes goals and objectives and evaluates performance.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Sufficient education, training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Development of the required knowledge and abilities is typically obtained through but not limited to:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Three years of full‐time clerical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Accounts Payable experience preferred
  • Must have experience with ERP databases; PeopleSoft experience is desirable.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suites: Word, Excel, Sharepoint and Outlook.
  • Must communicate effectively orally and in writing.
