Job Description:

Manage and develop a team of executive assistants within Fidelity’s Asset Management (AM) division, supporting Fixed Income, ensuring maximum productivity, service levels, cost effectiveness, and customer and employee satisfaction. In this role, the Team Leader also provides direct support to Fixed Income professionals.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

Manage a Team of Executive Assistants 

  • Manage administrative support and workflow ensuring consistent and effective coverage, including coverage during time away from work

  • Develop and maintain working relationships with AM senior leadership, managers and associates to determine administrative needs, expectations and priorities

  • Serve as a resource, subject matter expert and problem solver

  • Establish a learning culture focused on talent development while managing all aspects of performance

  • Identify and implement areas for process improvement

  • Facilitate all aspects of team management, including onboarding, communication and process and workflow consistency 

  • Foster a partnership with other Administrative Team Leads to develop and maintain working relationships across business units to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration and operational efficiencies  

  • Provide all aspects of support (e.g., proactive calendar management, meeting coordination, trouble shooting of conflicts and potential obstacles, complex travel and expense reporting)

  • Communicate “on behalf of” at all levels both internally and externally

  • Manage daily workflow of expected and unexpected requests and commitments to ensure accuracy, efficiency and timeliness     

  • Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization and project management skills

  • Ability to successfully build relationships and interact positively and effectively across multiple levels

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and pivot when needed

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong influence and team building skills

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
