Job Description
You will generate and review shipping documentation, schedule shippers and pick-ups, review associated documents for accuracy, resolve schedule, shipper or financial/billing issues that emerge while observing applicable transportation requirements.
You will be responsible for determining transportation modes based on the safety data sheets.
You will be responsible for oversight compliance with Department of State, Department of Transportation and Department of Defense regulations on transporting weapons, and materials and equipment.
You will identify transportation priorities based on multiple customer requirements, destinations and funding to ensure mission accomplishment.
You will instruct others on how to reconcile bills, will act as the certification official for debts on behalf of the government and shall work with Contracts and the Comptroller's office on any issues that are identified.
