Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Transaction Processor Associates to provide transaction processing support during a high-volume open enrollment period.
This position involves researching, reviewing, processing, and updating consumer information across multiple computer systems. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process transactions accurately and in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Research, analyze, and update consumer information using multiple systems.
- Enter and maintain information accurately within designated applications.
- Review transactions for completeness, accuracy, and potential errors.
- Meet or exceed established daily productivity requirements.
- Maintain required quality and accuracy standards.
- Identify, document, and correct processing or data quality issues.
- Complete assigned work within established deadlines.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of applicable procedures and operating systems.
- Provide professional customer service to internal and external contacts.
- Organize and prioritize workload in a high-volume environment.
- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- Previous transaction processing, eligibility determination, data entry, healthcare administration, claims processing, enrollment, or similar administrative experience preferred.
- College degree preferred but not required.
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to learn new software applications and processing systems.
- Ability to meet productivity goals without sacrificing quality.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision following training.
Work Environment & Schedule
This is an onsite position in East Hartford, CT 06108 within a fast-paced office and transaction processing environment.
The standard schedule is approximately 40 hours per week. Candidates must have some scheduling flexibility, as overtime, evening hours, and occasional weekend work may be required, particularly during the open enrollment period.
