Job Summary and Qualifications
The Administrator is responsible for the daily operations of the center, including strategic growth, development, and managing all operational and financial targets. In conjunction with the Medical Director/MEC/Governing Body, the Facility Administrator constructs and implements policies, procedures, and bylaws, and manages operational and financial targets. The Facility Administrator ensures compliance with the goals and standards for the Surgery Ventures Group and the requirements of governmental or regulatory bodies. The Facility Administrator ensures the availability of adequate resources required for property maintenance.
Major Responsibilities:
- Facilitates positive and effective working relationships with stakeholders through recognition and reward.
- Communicates with division and hospital administration in overlap markets.
- Ensures that the day-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinates the use of corporate personnel resources.
- Participates in professional and community organizations to promote positive public relations and interact with the general public in area relating to healthcare.
- Assumes responsibility for the strategy and business development of the center in conjunction with the Physician & Provider Relations Team.
- Builds a competitively superior organization through attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent. Ensures people with the right skills and motivations are in the right role, at the right time, to meet business needs.
- Implements and maintains personnel policies, the employee benefit package, wage and salary program, and appropriate job descriptions.
- Establishes appropriate internal organizational lines of communication, authority, and accountability while fostering a healthy work environment.
- Negotiates and executes center contracts; as well as referral contracts that require legal review upon proper approvals.
- Works with leadership team to manage investment opportunities, and uphold terms of partnership agreements.
- Ensures policies and procedures are current and easily accessible for colleagues and medical staff.
- Ensures compliance with accrediting requirements and regulations to successfully complete all survey processes.
- Acts as a liaison, with physicians, patients and third-party payors to educate and encourage industry, and increase the reputation of Surgical Ventures Group.
- Collaborates with the CBO to oversee business office functions. Ensures efficient processing of ordering, receiving and paying for supplies.
- Leads Partnership and Partner Advisory Board meetings with limited partners and maintains required meeting minutes and supporting documentation.
- Participates in planning, implementation and reporting processes for all aspects of the business, such as performance improvement, operational and capital budgets, service excellence, safety, risk management and infection control programs.
- Completes required training to fulfill the role of ECO and/or FPO for the facility.
- Ensures that all staff of SVG completes annual competency and other required education as assigned.
What you will need for this role:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years’ healthcare operations leadership experience
- RN highly preferred.
