Summary

The Administrator assists in the development of corporate policies, develop community policies and ensures the implementation of both. The Administrator maintains and controls community expenses, approves all purchases orders and invoices for payment. Ensures the community is in compliance with all State and Federal Regulations. Works in harmony with corporate leadership to oversee community departmental operations. Actively engages with family members, residents, to problem solve and resolve community resident concerns. Communicates with the Senior Vice President, Health Care Services on matters needing consent/approval. Initiates evaluations and salary adjustments for direct reports. Approves employee terminations. Compiles reports for the corporation and other appropriate agencies as needed. Ensures all corporate directed initiatives are implemented. The Administrator is in general administrative charge of a long-term care community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Health Care Administration
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Administrator's license in the state you will be working
  • Two years prior Nursing Home administration preferred
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of functions and relationships of departments within a nursing home environment
  • Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral communication, visual acuity


Pay range: $98,018 - $163,363 annually
