SUPERVISION: Reports directly to Director of Nursing

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Organizes and performs clerical activities and data preparation legibly, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintains clerical environment.
  • Communicates appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff and physicians.
  • Collect and check departmental charges daily
  • Collect and submit monthly stats for Cath lab, Cardiac rehab, and Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Schedules daily on Epic for Cath Lab cases and Non Invasive Cardiology procedures
  • Performs other assigned duties in an efficient manner (such as Policy and Procedure Manual updates, Education tracker, (Patient, department schedules, agenda and/or minutes (comment with those that apply).

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2 years experience
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (as required by department).
  • Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; Ability to communicate with patients, family, peers and medical personnel; Basic math skills.
  • Requires emotional stability and resilience; Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrates foresight; Exhibits organizational and leadership ability.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

  • Requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and conflict resolution..
