Admissions Coordinator - Recovery Center

Are you passionate about helping individuals begin their recovery journey? Meridian Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our Recovery Center team in Lake City.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for clients entering treatment, you will play a critical role in coordinating admissions, managing referrals, and ensuring a smooth, supportive transition into care. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their behavioral health career who is eager to make an impact.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the full admissions process, from referral to intake
  • Manage program waitlists and prioritize admissions
  • Collect and review pre-admission documentation for clinical approval
  • Schedule admissions and oversee client intake, room assignments, and documentation
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Support treatment team meetings and client care activities
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and provide client support
  • Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health, substance use, or related field (or relevant coursework)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record
