Job Title: Admissions Counselor - Outreach & Partnership (Mesa)

Department: Office of Admissions

Reports to: Director of Admissions

Status: Full-Time, Benefit Eligible

Location: Mesa Campus

Rate: $19.23 hourly

Position Summary: Supports undergraduate and graduate enrollment growth through strategic outreach, relationship development, CRM management, and enrollment pipeline coordination. Serves as a key member of the Admissions team responsible for cultivating recruitment partnerships, managing prospective student engagement strategies, and supporting enrollment initiatives that increase student access and enrollment opportunities.

The Enrollment Outreach Coordinator develops and maintains relationships with key recruitment partners, including Catholic high schools, diocesan organizations, corporate partners, municipal organizations, community colleges, and other community-based organizations. This position serves as an enrollment resource by presenting Benedictine University's academic programs, scholarship opportunities, student experience, and enrollment pathways while creating meaningful connections that support prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, cultivate, and maintain strategic recruitment partnerships with Catholic high schools, diocesan organizations, corporate partners, municipal organizations, community colleges, and other community-based organizations to expand enrollment pipelines and increase awareness of Benedictine University. Conduct outreach visits, presentations, and information sessions for prospective students, families, school counselors, community partners, and organizational stakeholders. Represent Benedictine University at recruitment events, college fairs, classroom presentations, partner events, and community engagement opportunities. Collaborate with internal campus partners to create meaningful recruitment experiences and develop initiatives that strengthen institutional relationships, increase prospective student engagement, and support enrollment goals. Track partnership activity, engagement outcomes, and enrollment results to evaluate effectiveness and recommend opportunities for continued growth and expansion.

  2. Plan, coordinate, and execute recruitment events, information sessions, campus visits, and enrollment programming designed to engage prospective students and support enrollment conversion. Assist with admitted student events, registration programs, campus experiences, and other recruitment initiatives that enhance prospective student connections with Benedictine University.

Collaborate with Admissions staff and campus partners to ensure events are organized, student-focused, and aligned with enrollment priorities.

  1. Review and evaluate admissions applications and supporting documentation to ensure timely processing and admission decisions in accordance with institutional policies. Maintain accurate applicant records, recruitment territory reports, and enrollment data while utilizing CRM and student information systems to monitor prospective student progress throughout the enrollment funnel.

  2. Participate in departmental meetings, strategic planning sessions, professional development opportunities, and University events. Collaborate with Enrollment Management leadership and campus partners to develop innovative recruitment strategies, evaluate enrollment trends, share best practices, and implement initiatives that support institutional enrollment goals and student success.

Other Functions:

  • Working with student workers/student callers.
  • Collaborating with co-workers regarding new recruitment strategies, make suggestions to improve past strategies, and increase marketing opportunities.
