Extensive travel, evening, and weekend work are required. Must be available and willing to work non-traditional hours as needed.
General Description:
The Admission Counselor serves as part of a dynamic and high functioning recruitment team in the Office of Admission that is responsible for the planning and implementation of undergraduate, domestic new student recruitment and admission. The Admission Counselor has an assigned geographic territory that could include both in-state and out-of-state areas. The Counselor will communicate the educational opportunities, core-values, programs and services to prospective students and the general public in individual and group settings. The Admission Counselor must be able to successfully work independently and as part of a team, manage their assigned territory, and serve as a liaison between PLU and high school counselors, students, parents, campus partners and the community. The Admission Counselor is specifically responsible for meeting individual recruitment goals and for contributing to the overall recruiting goals of the admission team and office. Reports to the Associate Director of Admission - Recruitment.
