Under general supervision, the Admissions Advisor acts as a guide and brand ambassador, recruiting qualified students to the institution and supporting them through the entire enrollment funnel. They serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, typically in a designated geographical or functional area, providing detailed information about academic programs, financial aid, and campus life. In addition, they will be expected to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Admissions Office including, but not limited to, interviewing, group presentations, application reviews, and follow-up. The Admissions Advisor's goal is to meet enrollment targets by converting inquiries into applicants, and applicants into enrolled students.

% of Time
80% Recruitment travel, interviews, follow-up contacts, attend college information programs, high school and community college visits (occasional), competitor analysis, oversight of web content, conduct Saturday appointments, and participate in on- and off-campus events.
20% Data entry, computer assistance, report writing, interpreting data, work in evaluating data specific to position.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
ERGONOMIC REQUIREMENTS:
The functions of the position usually performed sitting, but may require some amount of time standing. Some amount of stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying and other movements may be required. Tasks involving working on a computer keyboard, calculator, cutting, labeling, and taping involve involves extensive wrist and hand movements. This position also requires the ability to travel whenever necessary. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others.
