GENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTION: Responsible for assisting with the processing of admission applications and documents, assisting with records processing, processing all transcript requests and entering transfer credit in Banner for those institutions built in transfer articulation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with processing applications for new, returning, transfer and transient students
Responsible for downloading transcripts and updating appropriate forms in Banner
Perform data entry of transfer work in Banner
Monitor and process online transcript requests and resolve issues that impede transcript delivery
Enter data in students' records (ACT scores, high school and college transcripts, residency information, etc.)
Answer the telephone and respond with appropriate information regarding admission status and transcript requests
Timely and accurate entry of student admissions documents, including admissions applications, transcripts and residency documents
Assist with processing add/drop and readmit requests
Assist with registration process
Assist with degree audits
Assist with commencement ceremonies
Assist with new student orientation sessions
Assist with preparing files for audit
Assist with supervising work study students
Assist students and visitors in-person or via telephone and respond with appropriate information
Order supplies when needed
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the appropriate authority
