Position Overview
The Admissions Assistant provides administrative and coordination support for the admissions process, ensuring timely, accurate, and organized intake procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming referrals and organize admission documentation
- Communicate with hospitals, families, and internal departments to coordinate admissions
- Prepare admission packets and ensure all required paperwork is complete
- Assist with scheduling admissions and facility tours
- Maintain accurate records of referrals and admissions activity
- Provide general administrative support to admissions and clinical teams
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents, families, and referral partners
Qualifications
- 1+ year of administrative, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
