Life Care Center of Aurora is looking for an Admissions Assistant, this is a full-time hourly position. This individual reports directly to the Admissions Director. This individual will support the Admissions Director with patient intakes and provide administrative support to the department.
This individual supports the organization by answering hospital calls, perspective family phone calls, providing tours to perspective resident, tracking incoming referrals from hospitals at a high-pace, calling insurance to verify eligibility and benefits, providing appropriate documentation in a timely manner, collaborating with other departments to ensure proper information is being reported, will be in constant communication with hospital liaisons, complete admission and discharge audits, scanning, and keeping patient health records organized/complete.

The Admissions Assistant (Non Nurse) facilitates and supports the admission process in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
