We create transformational experiences through innovative and responsive teaching in a diverse community of authentic belonging.Position DescriptionReporting to the Directors of Admissions, the admissions associate will focus on assisting with all aspects of recruitment and retention. This 10-month position follows the same academic calendar as classroom faculty.The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team-player with outstanding administrative skills who is able to engage effectively with a wide range of constituencies. The position requires a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and who approaches their work with a balance of enthusiasm, professionalism, and the utmost attention to detail. Previous experience in school admissions work is required, with three or more years of admissions experience preferred. Previous experience in a high-level administrative assistant/executive assistant role will also be considered.Major Responsibilities · Support the Admissions Office in meeting enrollment goals.· Coordinate prospective student visits, including helping to conduct assessments for our younger applicants and informing faculty of upcoming visitors.· Manage all aspects of event planning for parent information sessions and new family onboarding events.· Give tours as needed, answer phones, and speak knowledgably with prospective families.· Execute admission decisions on applicant files in coordination with the admissions committee.· Prepare mailings, contracts, nametags, parking placards, and more to support the administrative needs of the department.· Run and maintain reports from our various student information databases.· Assist in the execution of the department's communication plan to prospective and admitted students.· Help plan and manage community events.· Other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications · A bachelor's degree with a minimum of three or more years of admissions or executive assistant experience· Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills· Professionalism and courteous attitude when working with parents, faculty, staff, alumni, students and any other patrons· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Ability to use Microsoft Office and to learn to effectively navigate our student databases· Ability to work well with, and relate to, diverse constituencies· Ability to perform well both independently and in a team setting· Ability to problem solve, develop creative solutions, and multi-task· Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive circumstancesAt St. Paul's Schools, we are dedicated to fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where every individual is celebrated for their unique strengths and contributions. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's years of experience, education and skills. For this opportunity, our salary range is $50,000 to $58,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
