Welcome prospective residents, families, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism and compassion.
Coordinate the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident admission.
Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly and courteously.
Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
Build and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community partners.
Gather, verify, and process admission paperwork and required documentation.
Coordinate admissions with nursing, social services, therapy, and other departments to ensure smooth resident transitions.
Maintain accurate admission records and census information.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and families throughout the admission process.
Assist with marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events as needed.
Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, customer service, hospitality, or long-term care preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR), is preferred.
Professional demeanor with a compassionate, positive attitude.
