Admissions Concierge

Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is hiring an Admissions Concierge in Syracuse, NY.

Duties:
  • Welcome prospective residents, families, visitors, and referral sources with professionalism and compassion.
  • Coordinate the admissions process from initial inquiry through resident admission.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community partners.
  • Gather, verify, and process admission paperwork and required documentation.
  • Coordinate admissions with nursing, social services, therapy, and other departments to ensure smooth resident transitions.
  • Maintain accurate admission records and census information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents and families throughout the admission process.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in admissions, healthcare, customer service, hospitality, or long-term care preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR), is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor with a compassionate, positive attitude.
