We're seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator who is passionate about helping older adults and their families navigate the transition into senior living. Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Wage: $36.00-$44.00/hr. DOE

We're Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, or senior living admissions preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and prior authorization processes
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • RN or LPN licensure is preferred but not required

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate the admissions process from referral through resident move-in.
  • Review referrals and gather clinical, financial, and insurance information.
  • Coordinate pre-admission screenings and insurance authorizations.
  • Conduct tours for prospective residents and families while providing education about services and amenities.
  • Collaborate with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and internal departments to facilitate smooth admissions.
  • Maintain accurate admission documentation within the EMR.
  • Track inquiries, referrals, waiting lists, and census activity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to support census growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal admission regulations.
  • Support community outreach, marketing initiatives, and special projects as assigned.
