Pay Rate: $65,000-$75,000

Your Role as a Admissions Coordinator

  • Communicate with hospitals/referral sources regarding acceptance or denial status.
  • Create and manage admission charts, required information and document within the appropriate time frame.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Maintain daily communication with the Central Intake team
  • Complete sign-in with r all new admissions
  • Provide outstanding customer service and family  
  • Communicate with Central Intake regarding bed management
  • Support external marketing and relationship-building efforts

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of long-term care operational standards and regulations 
  • Strong ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate leadership skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities 
  • Commitment to delving the highest quality of care in the most personalized way
  • Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents in a positive manner
  • Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to remain calm and effectively manage stress in a healthcare setting
