GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The Admissions Coordinator should have a thorough understanding of the admissions scholarship application and award process and be familiar with filing and word processing systems. He/she must be comfortable using the computer for correspondence generation, word processing, data entry, and document inventory. The Admissions Coordinator will also be called upon to demonstrate telephone and hospitality etiquette as needed. Familiarity with the Privacy Act (FERPA) and its implications upon file maintenance and records management is necessary. He/she should be able to successfully meet deadlines and prioritize multiple responsibilities and tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Admissions Coordinator should demonstrate a proven track record of responsible office administration and/or records management, preferably in a college setting. A background that demonstrates familiarity with computers is also necessary. Some supervisory experience is helpful. The Admissions Coordinator should be prepared occasionally to work extended hours, including university registrations and Patriot Saturdays. Little or no outside travel will be expected.
The Admissions Coordinator should be a person devoted to Christ, self-motivated, able to operate efficiently with minimal supervision, highly organized, professional, detail-oriented, and a capable communicator.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Regular office hours between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday -Friday, but occasionally flexible hours will be required. Rotating Patriot Saturdays (second Saturday of each month) and periodic evening or weekend special events will also be required.
