    Role Description The Admissions Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Delray Beach, FL, responsible for supporting individuals and families through the intake and admissions process. This role manages incoming inquiries, performs initial screenings, gathers patient information, and verifies eligibility, including insurance details. The Admissions Coordinator schedules assessments and appointments, maintains accurate records in internal systems, and coordinates with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition into treatment. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining admission procedures, answering questions, updating documentation, and providing professional, empathetic customer service in person and by phone. The role also involves participating in ongoing training, following regulatory and organizational policies, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the admissions experience.

    • Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with patients, families, and internal teams.

    • Customer Service skills with a focus on empathy, professionalism, and handling sensitive situations respectfully.

    • Knowledge of Medicare and other insurance processes, including basic eligibility and verification procedures.
    • \n
    • Ability to learn and use Medical Terminology relevant to treatment and admissions documentation.

    • Experience in Training or willingness to participate in ongoing training to stay current with policies and procedures.
    • \n
    • Previous experience in healthcare admissions, registration, or a related administrative role is preferred.
    • \n
    • Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic record systems.
    • \n
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
    • \n
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
