PACE Senior Community Care of Jefferson County is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare affiliate of the Volunteers of America parent organization.

Schedule:M-F, 8a-5p, Occasional weekends 

Salary:$58,000 - $65,000(based on experience)

*This position will oversee both sites*

OBJECTIVE: Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, obtains initial information relating to admissions, coordinates intake process, and provides information and referrals to community agencies as appropriate. Promotes the Senior CommUnity Care Program to potential participants and community
agencies.

About the Admissions CoordinatorJob:

  • Ability to process and complete admissions
  • Provide pre-admissions counseling, information and tours
  • Review EPIC for proper documentation and orders
  • Facilitate PAS Screening and Level II as needed
  • Ability to assists Social Services team with various tasks
  • Ability to participate in Vulnerable Adult investigations and complete necessary documents/reports

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong focus on organization

  • Comfortable working in a fast pace environment

  • Excellent customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, VA 
  • Skilled nursing experience
