Admissions Coordinator

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL 

Facility: Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health 

Department: Patient Access Admitting 

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time | 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm 

Salary: $19.58 - $26.09 per hour

• Perform onsite clinical assessments of potential candidates. Coordinate transfer process, working with referral sources, insurance companies, and various healthcare staff and departments.
• Assist the supervisor with the development and improvement of processes designed to keep referral sources informed of patient status and discharge recommendations.
• Provide pre-admission assessment, insurance verification, and pre-certification for admission.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing preferred.
• Rehab Therapist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred. 
• Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation preferred. 

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,
  if applicable.

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology

• 1 year of behavioral health intake experience preferred
