Admissions Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Admissions Assistant to join our team at a skilled nursing facility. This weekend position plays a critical role in ensuring a smooth, welcoming admission experience for new residents and their families.
Schedule: Part-Time | Saturdays & Sundays (6–8 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the admission process for new residents, including paperwork and documentation
- Greet residents and families, providing excellent customer service and support
- Coordinate with hospital discharge planners, case managers, and internal clinical teams
- Verify insurance and collect required admission information
- Maintain accurate resident records and ensure compliance with facility policies
- Answer phones and respond to inquiries regarding admissions and services
- Support the Admissions/Marketing team with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare, admissions, or administrative roles preferred
- Knowledge of skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
