    Admissions Coordinator | Traceway Retirement Community

    Tupelo, MS | On-Site

    Methodist Senior Services is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Traceway Retirement Community.

    \n

    Since 1962, Methodist Senior Services has provided comfortable, supportive living environments for older adults across Mississippi. With 12 locations statewide, our team is united by a mission to serve older adults in the Spirit of Christian Love, with dignity, respect, and compassion.

    \n

    The Admissions Coordinator serves as a critical connection between hospitals, physicians, case managers, payers, residents, families, and our care team. This role helps ensure safe, timely, and compliant admissions while creating a positive experience for elders and their loved ones.

    Duties (include but not limited to):

    \n
    • \n
    • Coordinate skilled nursing and long-term care admissions from referral through admission
    • \n
    • Manage PASRR submissions and admission documentation
    • \n
    • Collaborate with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and families
    • \n
    • Process Medicaid, Medicare, and managed care admissions
    • \n
    • Utilize PointClickCare (PCC), Maximus, and LTS Reporting systems
    • \n
    • Support discharge planning and census development
    • \n
    • Build and strengthen referral relationships through marketing and community outreach
    • \n
    • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and MSS policies
    • \n
    \n

    Qualifications

    \n
    • \n
    • Current or previous LPN license strongly preferred
    • \n
    • 5+ years of admissions experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or skilled living
    • \n
    • Strong knowledge of PASRR, Medicaid/Medicare, managed care, insurance authorizations, case management, and discharge planning
    • \n
    • PointClickCare and Maximus experience preferred
    • \n
    • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
    • \n
    • A compassionate, service-focused approach to working with older adults and their families
    • \n
    \n

    Schedule

    \n

    ·      Monday–Friday | Regular Business Hours

    \n

    ·      Flexibility is required for occasional admissions, meetings, and on-call needs, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
