    Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Recruiter/Admissions Counselor for the Huntsville Extension Center. The selected individual will assist with recruiting, registration, financial aid, and advisement of academics programs, curriculum, and university policies and procedures. This individual will have the opportunity to serve students at this campus through each stage of the educational process from prospects seeking admission to preparing for graduation. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

    This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

    Summary of Duties:

    • Recruit students while achieving established recruiting goals for each program
    • Contact and visit businesses/organizations each month
    • Schedule and participate in recruiting events
    • Contact prospective students and applicants and provide regular follow-ups; provide ongoing advisement for current students
    • Develop and maintain general working knowledge of financial aid; counsel students and prospective students on available financial aid programs
    • Assist students with admissions and documentation needed for registration
    • Collaborate with academic departments, faculty and staff to ensure strong support for all students

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Experience in a post-secondary institution or related field in higher education, preferred
    • Active member of the church of Christ
