ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR - REGIONAL (TWIN CITIES METRO RECRUITMENT)
POSITION
Full-time, 12 month position
A key member of the Admissions team, the Regional Admissions Counselor located in the Twin Cities Metro must be enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to articulate the values and benefits of a hands-on, experiential learning environment in order to attract, recruit, and enroll students at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
This position is regionally based within the Twin Cities metropolitan area and serves as a primary University representative throughout the region. The Admissions Counselor will develop and maintain a strong recruitment presence across the Twin Cities metro by cultivating relationships with prospective students, families, high school counselors, community-based organizations, and educational partners while supporting UMN Crookston's enrollment goals and commitment to access, inclusion, and student success.
The individual selected will represent UMN Crookston by providing high-quality service to prospective students and their families while collaborating with campus partners to support students and advance efforts to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment.
This position requires extensive travel throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area, including regular high school visits, college fairs, community events, and outreach programs, as well as occasional overnight travel to the Crookston campus and other regional recruitment activities. Flexible evening and weekend hours are required.
