Admissions Director

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our team in a full-time position.

The Admissions Director will oversee the admissions process, coordinate patient referrals, and serve as a liaison between hospitals, families, and the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with admissions, insurance verification, business development, and relationship-building within the healthcare community.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the admissions process from referral through admission

• Review clinical referrals and facilitate admission decisions

• Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations

• Develop relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and referral sources

• Conduct facility tours and meet with prospective residents and families

• Support census growth through marketing and business development efforts

• Maintain knowledge of MassHealth, Medicare, and Medicaid programs

• Complete admission documentation and ensure compliance

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitions

Qualifications:

• Healthcare admissions, intake, case management, marketing, or business development experience preferred

• Experience with insurance verification, authorizations, and MassHealth preferred

• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid

• Familiarity with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or sub-acute rehabilitation settings preferred

• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• $55,000 - $75,000 per year
